Senior Building Services Executive

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Building Services Executive to lead our Galway office, providing technical expertise and strategic guidance to drive business growth and excellence in engineering design.

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge in building services engineering, excellent leadership and team management skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects across various sectors including education, public sector, heritage, and commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Galway office and manage all aspects of team performance and project delivery
  • Deliver high-quality building services engineering design across a range of projects
  • Ensure projects meet performance, quality, and budget expectations
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients and help strengthen long-term relationships
  • Play a strategic role in developing the Galway office, including business development and recruitment
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and career growth
  • Champion best practice and sustainability-led design within the team
Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or a closely related discipline)
  • Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it)
  • 8+ years experience in a building services design role, with proven leadership on complex projects
  • Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. Revit, IES, Amtech)
  • Knowledge of BIM processes and environmental assessment methods such as BREEAM
  • Strong client relationship management and business development skills
  • Full right to work in Ireland
