Medical Device Service Operations Manager
This position oversees nationwide medical device service operations, focusing on laser and camera systems. The role involves managing a field service team to ensure seamless delivery of technical support.
The successful candidate will oversee the daily activities of 6 field engineers and 2 coordinators from a central location in Ireland. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing service strategies to enhance operational efficiency
- Managing team performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including HSE and hospital engineering teams
- Leading training programs and fostering stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in medical devices (engineering; biomedical, electrical, or mechanical background)
- Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring teams
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities
- Knowledge of ISO and HSE protocols, patient safety, and compliance reporting
