Senior Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in production management, within a team-based manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day effective management of production, ensuring products are produced in a timely and cost-effective manner. They will also lead teams to deliver a quality first culture, customer service, enabling growth, continuous improvement of products and processes, and drive engagement of the operations teams.

The Senior Operations Manager will establish performance targets for the Business Unit(s), monitor actual Business Unit performance against targets, and take appropriate and timely corrective action where negative trends begin to emerge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage production to meet business objectives and customer requirements
  • Lead teams to deliver quality results and improve productivity
  • Establish and maintain performance targets and metrics
  • Monitor and report on business performance and implement improvements as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years manufacturing experience, preferably at production management level
  • Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
