Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Building Division in Canada.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, including healthcare, airport, defense, high-rise, commercial, and educational facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Create project schedules, assess requirements, review contracts, and select subcontractors.
  • Site Management: Oversee daily operations, ensure adherence to schedules and budgets, manage site logistics, maintain safety standards, and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Quality Control: Handle warranty work, close accounts, address deficiencies, and demobilize the site.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop direct reports, align HR strategies with business objectives, and conduct performance assessments.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and collaborate on proposals.

Requirements:

  • degree/diploma/trade in construction or engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience in construction/site management for a main contractor in Ireland/UK.
  • experience delivering projects with values over €60 million.
  • solid understanding of construction industry practices.
  • strong familiarity with contract administration, understanding drawings, specifications, architectural and engineering standards, and building practices.
  • strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
