The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland, dating back to 833 A.D. We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Culinary Assistant to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Prepare meal ingredients, which includes washing, peeling and chopping vegetables and fruits.">
  • Daily preparation of fresh sandwiches and soups.">
  • Set up for lunch and dinner according to Chef de Partie's instruction.">
  • E nsure that food from own station is delivered on time.">
  • Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure that workstations are properly sanitised according to HACCP regulations.">

Requirements:

We are looking for someone with:

  • ">
  • Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or equivalent qualification.">
  • Knowledge of food health and safety regulations.">
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification, or current student of Culinary Arts.">
  • A passion and genuine interest in food.">
  • Flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.">
  • A good command of the English language.">
