Job Description

The Guest Experience Manager - Hotel Operations will play a key role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant stay. This will involve overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's food and beverage outlets, including the restaurant, lobby lounge, and pub.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the activities of outlet staff to ensure exceptional customer service
  • Expediting guest orders as needed and maintaining good working relationships with colleagues
  • Delegating tasks to line staff and conducting regular inspections of the kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained
  • Ensuring compliance with food health and safety regulations through effective supervision of food preparation, presentation, and storage
  • Monitoring cash flow and following proper cash handling protocol
  • Ensuring all checklists, requisitions, and proper opening and closing duties are completed for each shift
  • Fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement among team members
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in hospitality, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong command of the English language
  • Ability to prioritise and organise work effectively
  • Basic knowledge of wine and food, including the ability to make recommendations to guests
