About our company

We are a family-run contractor based in Cork, seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead our team.

The successful candidate will oversee multiple small fitout projects, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring health and safety protocols on site are of the highest possible standard.
  • Understanding contract documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQ.
  • Managing client expectations and ensuring they are met.
  • Programme works, maintaining a clear schedule of deliverables and updating the programme on site.
  • Tracking progress, ensuring the contract is completed safely and on time.
  • Liaising with the QS to manage costs and ensure targets are achieved.
  • Meeting regularly with clients, design teams, and senior management to update them on project progress.
  • Coordinating supply chain procurement to meet programme requirements.
  • Dealing with public and regulatory bodies regarding queries and complaints.
  • Implementing company policies and procedures on site.
  • Reporting regularly to senior management on project progress and issues affecting targets.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Construction Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and direct.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) for building productive relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge of construction methodology, building processes, and details.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritising tasks, managing time effectively, and meeting challenging work goals.
  • Strong organisational skills, using resources to meet deadlines.
