Polymer Materials Leader

Our organization is seeking an experienced Polymer Materials Leader to oversee the development and commercialization of new thermally conductive polymers. This individual will play a key role in advancing our company's innovative solutions for various industries.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in polymer materials science, project management, and leadership. They will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams to develop and bring new products to market efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies for the commercialization of new thermally conductive polymers.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify business opportunities and provide technical expertise.
  • Establishing partnerships with external organizations to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
  • Providing guidance on material selection, processing, and compounding to ensure product quality and performance.
  • Managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in polymer materials or project management in an advanced materials setting.
  • A degree in mechanical, manufacturing, polymer, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • Detailed knowledge of polymer processing techniques, including injection molding and extrusion.
  • Expertise in polymer material additives, their interactions, and impacts on final product properties.
  • Proven project management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
