Business Development Executive Job Description

This is a leadership role that requires strategic vision and expertise to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of daily business operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring overall business success
  • Development and implementation of business strategies to support growth and business excellence
  • Leadership of operations, engineering/quality, procurement, and administration functions
  • Management of the operations department to highest standards to satisfy customer expectation and on-time delivery
  • Optimization of HR, hiring, and training processes
  • BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS with key customers in diverse markets
  • Setting objectives and improving systems and procedures
  • Collaboration with finance to manage budgets and design improvements to optimize financial performance and operational effectiveness and efficiency
  • Close collaboration with sales/account management functions and the customer to deliver total customer satisfaction
  • Building, developing, and leading a management team and staff capable of carrying out organizational objectives to the highest standards
  • Responsibility for health and safety standards throughout the organization
  • Maintenance of strong client relationships and identification of opportunities for new business
  • Development, promotion, and implementation of ongoing continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements include proven experience at a management level within manufacturing and engineering. In-depth knowledge of machining and fabrication or related production processes is desirable. A relevant third-level qualification is also desirable. Excellent leadership skills including goal setting, motivating, training, and mentorship are required. Performance-focused with strong budgeting and reporting capabilities.
