Job Overview:
- This role plays a pivotal part in the product development team, responsible for implementing and promoting design excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
- The Design Assurance Engineer ensures that R&D projects align with industry standards and that relevant verification and validation activities are implemented to support regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing design changes to maintain compliance with risk management and design control requirements
- Supporting complaint investigations to uphold product safety and efficacy
- Implementing end-to-end design control processes, including verification and validation activities
- Ensuring products meet regulatory submission and commercialisation requirements
Requirements:
- Prior experience in design control
- Minimum 3 years' experience in the medical device industry
- User requirements understanding and ability to translate this through design outputs and verification & validation
