We are seeking a seasoned Security Engineer to join our dynamic Advisory practice. This is an exceptional chance to work with various tool sets and across numerous client organizations.

  • Implement robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard client systems.
  • Analyze SIEM alerts to identify potential threats and take corrective action.
  • Document all work in comprehensive reports and status updates.
  • Craft clear and concise communication strategies to effectively convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

We require a highly skilled individual with a strong background in information security, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work well under pressure.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Minimum 1-3 years' professional experience in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, network security, or related field.
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to client and stakeholder needs.
Desired Technical Knowledge and Skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Security Tools and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm).
  • Knowledge of log collection, parsing, and correlation rules.
  • Experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
  • Programming skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Defender suite).
  • Understanding of IAM, conditional access policies, and secure by default concepts.
    • Hands-on experience with EDR platforms (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender ATP, SentinelOne).
      • Ability to analyze and respond to endpoint threats and incidents.
    • Knowledge of malware analysis and forensic investigation.
      • Understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS security hardening.
      • Windows Administrative Experience: Group Policy or Microsoft Intune.
        • Familiarity with how group policies are applied/managed and can be used to enforce security controls.
          • Familiarity with the Microsoft Intune suite and how endpoints in a Microsoft environment can be natively cloud managed.
          • Understanding of concepts like ring testing and mitigation techniques.
          • Knowledge of Windows and *NIX-based operating systems.
          • Networking fundamentals and common attacks/defenses.
      Desired Project Management and Communication Skills
      • Flexibility to adapt to changing project schedules and willingness to work extended hours when needed.
        • Strong analytical skills to break down complex problems into manageable sizes.
        • Aptitude for technical writing, including assessment reports, presentations, and operating procedures.
          • Experience communicating with clients and independently managing client projects.
            • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
              • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
                • Excellent organization skills.
