Retail Shop Assistant

At our hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Shop Assistant to provide exceptional customer service and support our busy Support Services team.

This is a key role within our retail operations, and the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, operating tills efficiently, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a high standard of personal hygiene and presentation.

As a Retail Shop Assistant, you will work closely with our catering and ward services teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments. You will also assist with special functions, events, or additional duties as required.

The ideal candidate must have experience in a healthcare or hospitality environment, be extremely detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.

They must also have proven experience in processing large volumes of invoices on a daily basis, excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, and be able to communicate in English to the standard equivalent to level 7 of the International English Language Testing System.
