Operational Support Manager Job Description

The Operational Support Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless and effective operation of the laser team. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily laser clinic operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing laser team to achieve exceptional service standards and performance goals.
  • Develop and implement effective administrative systems to streamline tasks, enhance productivity, and minimize errors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, services, and solutions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely management of workflows, diaries, and team schedules to meet business objectives.
  • Provide support and cover for various clinic locations across Ireland, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, stakeholders, and customers to address queries, concerns, and feedback.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Mentor, coach, and motivate laser staff to excel in service delivery and performance through KPI-driven strategies.
  • Support the onboarding and ongoing training of laser staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Cover and provide support to team members when they are absent or require additional assistance.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes staff retention, development, and well-being.

Commercial Growth

  • Identify opportunities to enhance service offerings, increase bookings, and improve profitability at the clinic level.
  • Encourage collaboration and idea sharing across clinics to drive business innovation and growth.

Additional Requirements

  • Based in Cork with regular travel to other clinics (approximately 1-2 days per week).
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, including bank holidays.
  • Evenings and occasional weekends may be required.
  • Must have access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Additional driving expenses will be covered.
