Job Summary

This role involves developing, testing, and debugging firmware for NetApp storage systems. The successful candidate will be part of a research and development team focused on creating innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and stay ahead in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test firmware for NetApp storage systems using ARM/Intel based Server platforms.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to enhance existing products and develop new ones, ensuring they meet customer needs and are competitive in the market.
  • Develop software for embedded system components, including drivers, networking stacks, and memory models.
  • Work with Linux/POSIX programming, build tools, and kernel updates to ensure seamless integration.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in firmware development is required, with 8-9 years being preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of ARM/Intel architectures, peripherals, and UEFI BIOS/GRUB development.
  • Experience with C/C++, Python, Shell programming, and Windows/Linux OS/Kernel debugging.
  • Ability to work with device drivers, ACPI code, and hardware-firmware co-design.
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Education and Benefits
