About the Role: Virgin Media Television seeks a Digital Asset Coordinator to join its Operations team.

This role is part of the core operational team responsible for editing, encoding, and delivering Video on Demand content across multiple platforms. Irregular hours and weekend work are involved.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • ">
  • Creation of assets and input of metadata into the Content Management System">
  • Monitoring deliveries through various stages - from metadata creation to appearance on platforms, remedying issues when required">
  • Liaising closely with platform partners to address file failures and ensure complete deliveries">
  • Closely monitoring VOD platforms to ensure accurate representation of all content and addressing inconsistencies">
  • Liaising with the Commercial Department to handle advertising partner requests accurately and timely">
  • Resolving external customer enquiries and escalating user issues as necessary">
  • Working with development and tech teams to log technical issues and develop strong working relationships with internal stakeholders">
  • Generating creative concepts for VOD in line with key messages and major initiatives">
  • Managing VOD Box Set campaigns from encoding and delivery to presentation on platforms and promotion on social media">
  • Collaborating with Ad Operations to deliver campaigns across multiple platforms">
  • Managing encoding, delivery, and promotion of commercially produced VOD campaigns on Virgin Media Player">
  • Publishing content to the Virgin Media Television website and adding new information as required">

Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience with multiplatform/VOD materials delivery">
  • Knowledge of Avid-based editing systems or similar">
  • At least 1 year of editing experience">
  • Understanding of broadcast video file formats and standards">
  • Able to multitask and troubleshoot to resolve issues and shift priorities effectively">
