Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Project Manager to play a pivotal role in the delivery of our major data centre project in Dublin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving financial management, budget control, and performance reporting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead procurement efforts and ensure successful project outcomes, meeting timelines, budgets, and goals
  • To establish clear and consistent cost management practices across the project lifecycle
  • To provide regular commercial reports to key stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate information
  • To foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among teams, aligning on scope, budgets, and procurement plans from pre-construction through project delivery
  • To build and maintain strong relationships with clients and supply chain partners, promoting efficient and effective communication
  • To work closely with project teams to identify and assess risks and opportunities, developing proactive mitigation strategies
  • To oversee the onboarding of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project capacity and budget expectations
  • To guarantee comprehensive and protective subcontract and procurement documentation
  • To facilitate timely contract-aligned client billing and cash collection
  • To promote best-in-class, contractually compliant practices across the supply chain

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication, numeracy, and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex projects
  • Main Contractor experience is essential; MEP and data centre experience is highly beneficial
  • Experience with various procurement models (lump sum, remeasure, design-build, etc.)
