Key Responsibilities:

  • We seek an Underwriter to join our team in delivering high-quality services to our clients. The successful candidate will have technical capability and broader business skills in the Insurance Industry.
  • You will be responsible for the underwriting of Package and Monoline business consisting of UKI and Multinational Property, Casualty, and Global Terrorism.
  • Liaison with and participation at meetings with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders, face-to-face and virtually.
  • Navigating our Global Network in the placement of Multinational Programmes.
  • Meeting company standards regarding policy documentation, timeframe for quoting new and renewal business, and compliance issues.
  • Working within the framework of established protocols.
  • Experience in the insurance market is required, along with a desire to develop Property & Casualty knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a practical and common-sense approach to dealing with differing situations and tackle problems often against tight timeframes.
  • Interest in Multinational programs.
  • Minimum A level standard.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office.
  • Expected to undertake on-the-job training, which may involve working in other offices.
  • Keen to embark on or work towards relevant qualifications.
