Electromechanical Systems Specialist

The role of Electromechanical Systems Specialist entails providing high-quality repair, preventive maintenance service, and complete installation and relocation start-up service of complex electromechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.

  • Perform analytical problem-solving to the component level.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and conduct diagnostic procedures to isolate problems and take steps to minimize downtime or system interruptions.
  • Determine corrective actions required and/or escalate for assistance and prompt resolution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, engineering, or other applicable fields of study and a minimum of 2 years of work experience. Previous experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide quality repair, preventive maintenance service, and complete installation and relocation start-up service of complex electromechanical and electronic systems at customer sites.
  • Perform on-site preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • May perform multiple technical tasks and may coordinate work of assigned engineers.
  • Maintain records and reports as required to properly coordinate activities with supervisors and customers.
  • Professionally represent the company to the customer and be committed to customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in electronics, engineering, or other applicable fields of study.
  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor capital equipment.
  • Ability to work in constrictive clean room environment and wear appropriate personal protective safety equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
