Gentech Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with our client, a leading manufacturing company based in Belfast, who are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join their team.
Your main responsibilities will involve ensuring a safe working environment and culture, by personally demonstrating safe behavior and taking responsibility for the setting and management of health & safety of engineering staff and contractors.
- Ensure that Health and Safety risk assessments are completed and actioned.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on sites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Prior experience in cable management (cable termination, installation of cable trays, cable ladders etc.) and panel wiring is essential. You will also need to have past experience inspecting, diagnosing and repairing 3 phase motors, control circuits, safety circuits.
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in an engineering or electrical discipline, preferably HNC level or higher. Additionally, they should have experience in dealing with external service providers and regulatory bodies.
We are looking for someone who can adapt to a fast-paced changing environment and has proven experience of objective delivery. If you have the skills and experience required, we would love to hear from you.
Key Requirements:- 18th Edition Qualified
- HNC level in an engineering or electrical discipline
- Apprenticeship trained and tested
- Experience in dealing with external service providers and regulatory bodies
