Customer Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team. The primary goal is to deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops with us.

The role involves interacting with customers in a pleasant, friendly, and helpful manner, maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store.

As a Customer Assistant, you will work across different shift times, on varied tasks, and with different colleagues. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service skills and having a can-do attitude
  • Maintaining high standards of store and external cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ensuring stock levels are accurately recorded and stock loss is minimized

Shift patterns may vary, but you can expect to work morning, middle, or late shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

We offer a competitive salary and supplementary pay for unsocial hours worked. You will also receive 20 days' holiday per annum pro rata, company pension after one year, and opportunities for career development.
