Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager 2 to join our team in the Endoscopy unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the coordination and management of activities and resources within the unit, providing a safe and efficient service for patients and colleagues.

The successful candidate will have at least two years' experience in a management role within a busy endoscopy service and be a registered general nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). They will also possess excellent leadership skills, knowledge of quality audit/assurance systems, and experience in change management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using an evidence-based approach.
  • Provide high-level professional and clinical leadership.
  • Ensure the provision of safe, comprehensive nursing care to patients within established guidelines.
  • Participate in teams, meetings, and committees as required, communicating effectively with other team members.
  • Facilitate coordination, cooperation, and liaison across healthcare teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • At least two years' experience in a management role within a busy endoscopy service.
  • Previous experience within a private healthcare setting is desirable.
