We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale railway projects focusing on signalling systems, electrification upgrades, and telecommunications networks.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing tailored project plans, ensuring clear timelines, allocations, and deliverables.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading large-scale railway projects by developing project plans, ensuring clear timelines, allocations, and deliverables.
- Cordinating project activities with a focus on design management and the implementation of modern signalling, electrification, and telecom technologies.
- Conducting thorough commercial and contract management through regular status meetings with project teams and senior management.
- Directing interdisciplinary teams, ensuring SET specialists collaborate seamlessly with other projects.
- Providing technical and contractual support during project rollouts, and monitoring project progress in terms of costs, time, and quality.
- Developing a Requirements Management Plan to trace scope and objectives, and implementing comprehensive Cost Management.
- Establishing robust Document Control methods with a systematic review and approval procedure from project inception.
- Producing a detailed Interface Management Plan, complete with a matrix identifying all applicable connections for each project.
- Conducting continual analysis and evaluation of project risks throughout the lifecycle, ensuring sound commercial and contract management.
- Managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong skills in prioritization, delegation, and multitasking.
In order to succeed in this role, you should have a proven track record in project management, specializing in railway signaling, electrification, and telecom projects. You will also require
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project and program management, specializing in railway signaling, electrification, and telecom projects.
- Preferably IRSE licensed (e.g. 7.8.230F Senior Engineering Manager or 1.8.100 Signaling Team Leader).
- Comprehensive knowledge of SET systems, including signalling technologies, electrification infrastructure, and railway telecom networks.
- Strong leadership and team management skills to guide specialized SET teams and contractors.
- Keen focus on deadlines and adherence to budget guidelines.
- Successful collaboration across various management tiers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
