Description:

Riverside Park Hotel, Newtown Park Hotel, and Crown Quarter are seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to drive bedroom sales, group accommodation, meeting, and conference bookings across all three properties. This is a key leadership role within the hotels, responsible for developing and executing strategies to secure new business and grow revenue across the bedroom and events segments.

This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive business development strategies with a primary focus on corporate bedroom sales and group bedroom bookings across Riverside Park Hotel, Newtown Park Hotel, and Crown Quarter. They will identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship building with corporate clients, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), and associations.

They will build and maintain strong relationships with existing corporate clients to secure repeat business and encourage referrals. The ideal candidate will act as the account manager for key corporate clients across all three properties, ensuring their needs are met and identifying additional revenue opportunities.

The successful candidate will work closely with the reservation teams to ensure seamless booking processes and accurate input of group and corporate bedroom sales into the Property Management System (PMS). They will manage, input and confirm all conference bookings into the PMS system.

Collaborating with the events teams, they will secure meeting and conference bookings, tailoring proposals and packages to client needs. They will negotiate contracts and ensure all bedroom and group bookings align with the hotels' revenue and profitability objectives.

The ideal candidate will conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. They will collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and materials targeting the corporate and group segments.

Representing the hotels at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions, they will enhance brand visibility and drive new business. The successful candidate will prepare sales reports and performance analyses to monitor progress and inform strategic decisions.

In addition to their core responsibilities, they will help support and drive the Vision, Mission, and Purpose of the hotels.

Requirements:
  • A proven track record in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the hospitality or events industry.
  • A strong understanding of group and conference booking processes, with the ability to customize offerings to meet diverse client needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility to attend industry events and client meetings outside of standard working hours.
