We are seeking dedicated professionals to fill the role of Community Support Workers. This position involves empowering service users to live independent lives in their homes and communities.
The ideal candidate will have relevant QQI qualifications, experience working with individuals with disabilities, and a full clean manual driving license.
- Empower Service Users to live independent lives in their home and the community.
- Support the development and delivery of person-centred plans.
- Develop community partnerships to foster active citizenship in line with service user goals and wishes.
- Transport service users to access the community.
- Be responsible for Key Worker duties i.e. weekly administration, advocacy, liaising with families and develop and implement person-centred plans.
Key Requirements:
- Hold a relevant QQI qualification - minimum Level 5 in Healthcare or relevant.
- Experience working with service users in the disability sector.
- Be over the age of 18.
- Have a full clean manual driving license with access to own vehicle for work purposes.
- Have an excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Have previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in relevant sector.
