Process Optimization Specialist
At a leading technology company, we are pushing the boundaries of wearable and mixed reality products. This team focuses on developing innovative µLED technologies for future products. We seek a skilled process development specialist to join our research and development team.
This role requires close collaboration with internal research teams, academic institutions, external partners, and vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing processes for back-end tools including bonding, CMP, dice, and grinding.
To excel in this position, you must demonstrate high standards of quality and accuracy across multiple projects, drive impact across stakeholders with diverse perspectives, and exhibit resourcefulness and adaptability in problem-solving and pivoting according to changes.
- Optimization of Processes: Develop and optimize processes for the back-end tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with process development, device, and process integration teams to define process requirements for micro-LED processes.
- Design of Experiments: Plan, execute, and analyze Design Of Experiments.
- Tool Ownership: Define tool configuration, acceptance criteria, selection, start-up, and qualifications.
- Process Control: Establish, monitor, and maintain process tool controls.
- Standard Operation Procedures: Develop and maintain Standard Operation Procedures and Out-of-Control Action Plans.
- Cross-Functional Partnerships: Cross-functional collaboration with industrial and academic partners.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Physics, or Optics Engineering, or equivalent experience. Additionally, they should possess experience with µLED processing, understanding of µLED/semiconductor processing, and statistical process control (SPC setup and monitoring).
