Senior Legal Document Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a role that involves creating and formatting various legal documents.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with departmental teams across international offices from their Dublin base. The ideal candidate will have a high level of interest in perfecting documents, willingness to engage with internal stakeholders, and autonomy to identify and recommend initiatives.
The successful candidate should be proficient in MS365 applications, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiar with SharePoint.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Providing firm-wide support on MS 365 applications and document repair & restyle software (DocXtools).
- Supporting pdfDocs, particularly in the creation of eBibles.
- Offering second-line support to the IT Helpdesk on MS Office applications, Litera Compare, and pdfDocs.
- Preparing firm documents to the highest standard according to ALG branding and house styles.
- Preparing client documents and pdf forms incorporating client styles and brand requirements.
- Creating functional Word documents from PDF files and creating PDF fillable forms Word documents.
- Updating, reviewing, and checking precedent documents before uploading them to the library.
- Preparing first drafts of large transactional documents and reviewing and maintaining these documents over their lifecycle.
- Sharing tips and workarounds on document creation on the firm's SharePoint site.
- Delivering workshops on document processes, such as pdf conversions, cross-referencing, and working with templates.
- Collaborating with the DevOps team to identify specific document issues and liaising with vendors for solutions.
- Testing new software and providing feedback to the DevOps team.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A first-rate knowledge of MS365 applications, pdfDocs, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and familiarity with SharePoint.
- Experience working with legal documents within a professional services environment.
- Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent overall computer literacy.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information confidentially.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide clear, concise guidelines and lead workshops on document skills.
- Confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
