Job Title: Operations Team Lead

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing operations team and drive excellence in environmental compliance, waste management, and adherence to regulatory standards.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage teams effectively, maintain knowledge of environmental regulations, develop and implement effective waste management strategies, analyze commercial data, ensure health and safety protocols, and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and employees.

  • Manage cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain expertise in environmental regulations, including ADR and DGSA.
  • Develop and implement innovative waste management strategies to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Analyze commercial data to optimize pricing and profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols and best practices.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, employees, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Relevant technical qualification or experience.
  • In-depth Health and Safety Awareness.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office, ERP, and finance packages.
  • DGSA qualification or experience in the carriage of dangerous goods by road (an advantage).
  • Experience in confined spaces, working at heights, and chemical handling (an advantage).
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 45001.
