The role of Assistant Care Manager involves supporting and assisting the care team in their development, while also conducting spot checks, client reviews, and staff shadowing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist with care team development
  • Undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants within the community
  • Conduct client reviews in relation to the care they are continuing to receive
  • Communicate and participate effectively with the Quality and Compliance team regarding HIQA and Incident Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant health or social care background
  • Supervisory experience in Healthcare
  • QQI Level 5 Major award in Healthcare Support
  • Level 6 in Supervisory Management
