Job Title: Corporate Tax M&A Senior Manager / Director

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate tax professional to lead and manage tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions.

Your primary focus will be on providing strategic tax advice and support across all aspects of M&A transactions, including transaction structuring, tax compliance, and optimisation.

You will also develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on tax matters, attend client meetings and provide guidance on tax strategy and decision-making, mentor and support junior team members, and stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and assess the impact on M&A activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage tax due diligence projects for M&A transactions
  • Provide tax advice on transaction structuring, highlighting risks, opportunities, and tax implications
  • Review legal documentation to ensure tax compliance and optimisation
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless transaction execution
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant experience in corporate tax, with a focus on M&A transactions
  • Proven track record in managing complex tax projects and transactions
  • Strong understanding of tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructuring
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
