Job Summary

This is a highly skilled role that requires expertise in mechanical, mechatronic, electronic, and manufacturing disciplines. The ideal candidate will lead the creation, development, and validation of advanced medical technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and validate assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and packaging.
  • Define product specifications based on requirements and intended use.
  • Select suitable materials, processes, tooling, automation, and equipment.
  • Conduct engineering studies and proof-of-concept testing to evaluate feasibility.
  • Drive improvements in design and processes to strengthen quality, performance, and cost-efficiency.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, experienced in leading design reviews and presenting technical insights to internal teams and external partners.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 6–9 years' experience in medical device design, including at least 5 years leading mechanical design teams.
  • Experience working on both capital equipment and disposable components within medical technology.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, root cause analysis, and design documentation.
  • Skilled in GD&T, Design for Six Sigma (DfSS), DOE, and statistical analysis.
