Senior Aortic Development Engineer

The ideal candidate will lead the development of a groundbreaking Aortic Endovascular Repair (EVAR) device as part of a global leader in the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: The Senior Aortic Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing innovative Class III medical devices, including encapsulated stents and advanced delivery systems.
  • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of engineers to foster innovation and collaboration to achieve project milestones.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges in design, material selection, and manufacturing to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects from concept through to commercialisation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of stent systems, stent grafts, and delivery systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading a team of engineers and managing design projects.
