Job Summary

Our team is looking for a highly skilled and innovative individual to lead the design, development, and commercialization of medical devices. As a Senior Research Lead, you will be responsible for developing prototypes that meet clinical and design requirements, researching new therapies, and introducing new equipment, materials, and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop prototypes that meet clinical and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement research strategies to identify opportunities for innovation
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch new products
  • Mentor and coach direct reports to foster innovation and creativity within the team
  • Manage device evaluations and ensure compliance with Quality and Regulatory policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's or Ph.D. preferred)
  • 5+ years' experience in medical device development with proven project leadership abilities
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record in delivering quality results in a timely and effective manner
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, mechanical design, and engineering fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders
