Automated Systems Specialist

The role involves collaborating with a leading supplier of material handling and customised automation solutions to expand operations in various fields.
This position requires a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment at a customer site based in Dublin.
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, or refurbishing standard equipment and systems components to ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance procedures are followed.
Preventive and corrective maintenance may include disassembling, replacing, or repairing defective parts; reassembling as required.
Key requirements for this role include a minimum 2 years of experience within a Mechanical or Electrical Technician role.
Craft Certificate Level 6 in Mechanical Maintenance or 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical is also required.
Experience within Postal Sortation is an advantage but not essential.
A competent level of understanding in the area of troubleshooting of PCs, PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, IT, and electronic/electrical systems is necessary.
Strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem-solving are required.
A strong knowledge of automated and conveying systems is also required.
All aspects of general maintenance and technical cleaning have been worked on.
