About the Role

As a Sourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving business success by executing sourcing events from end to end. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining supplier performance review metrics & scorecards, providing periodic and ad-hoc indirect spend analysis reports, and executing sourcing events including price negotiations, vendor quote tracking, supplier selection, and contract review and approval.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Performance Management: Develop and maintain supplier performance review metrics & scorecards, ensuring that suppliers meet or exceed expectations.
  • Indirect Spend Analysis: Provide periodic and ad-hoc indirect spend analysis reports to inform strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Sourcing Event Execution: Execute sourcing events from end to end, including price negotiations, vendor quote tracking, supplier selection, and contract review and approval.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Support stakeholder alignment by identifying stakeholders, engaging and ensuring input throughout the sourcing process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A NFQ level 8 qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Technical or a related discipline.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
