We are seeking a seasoned Civil Engineer to lead the detailed design of our large-scale projects in Dublin City Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement civil engineering designs that meet the highest standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design disciplines, construction management teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Manage the timely delivery of civil engineering designs and conduct regular site inspections to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the civil engineering department and foster a culture of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Chartered membership with Engineers Ireland or a similar body is beneficial.
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience, with at least 5 years' experience in detailed design for large projects, including process drainage and complex underground utilities.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, and Auto TRACK is preferred.
  • Experience with Revit is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills, with the ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
  • Confident presentation skills to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Thorough understanding of civil engineering design standards and BCAR reporting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
