Blockchain Integration Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Blockchain Integration Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building, improving and maintaining clusters of blockchain daemons/consensus nodes in a scalable and highly redundant way.

  • Build, improve and maintain clusters of blockchain daemons/consensus nodes in a scalable and highly redundant way.
  • Develop Node/JS workers that interface with blockchain nodes API (REST/Websocket) interfaces.
  • Implement robust monitoring tools to control the stability of Bitfinex's blockchain infrastructure.
  • Create high-quality policies, procedures and technical documentation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in interacting with blockchain nodes (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).
  • A strong passion for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
  • Advanced Node/JavaScript skills.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and REST APIs.
  • The ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Solidity, Rust or Golang skills.
  • Experience with message queues (Redis), caches and job queues.
