Make a lasting impact as a Senior Finance Officer. This is an immediate start role within the third sector, where you can contribute to positive change and support the smooth financial operation of services that make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily finance operations, including budgeting, payroll liaison, and cash flow monitoring
  • Work closely with a finance partner to ensure accurate payroll and management accounts
  • Oversee all ledgers, banking, procurement, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Manage funds, prepare reports for stakeholders, and support funding applications
  • Supervise and support finance team members
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance role and hold a relevant finance qualification (or 4+ years of relevant finance experience without a qualification)
  • IATI, ACCA, CIMA qualifications are highly valued
  • Strong experience with purchase and sales ledgers
  • Confident working with accounting software
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to liaise across teams
  • Experience in the charity or not-for-profit sector
