Job Title:

The Evening Shift Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring and controlling manufacturing activities on site with particular emphasis on concrete filling and finishing works ensuring that works are completed safely and in accordance with the required Quality standards and production schedule.

  • Lead in the planning, coordination and management of all concrete works on site.
  • Arrange for all necessary materials and equipment to complete scheduled works.
  • Verify plant and equipment is fit for purpose and in good working order.
  • Provide activity-specific instruction to train employees in the steps to follow to complete works safely and to the required quality standard.
  • Monitor competency levels of trained employees and support the training and development of junior employees.
Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification or previous experience in concrete finishing an advantage.
  • Health and Safety Supervisor training (will be provided if not completed).
  • Prior education or training in a people management or related field an advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and provide guidance to a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload.
About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and health and safety. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to motivate and guide a team.
