Job Overview:

This role is an exciting opportunity to work within a Private Equity unit, serving as a key contact for clients and collaborating with the team to grow a dedicated group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary point of contact for multiple PE clients.
  • Develop strong relationships with client contacts, including investment professionals, investors, lawyers, auditors, and banking personnel.
  • Oversee staff on systems, processing, procedures, and job responsibilities.
  • Provide guidance and support to new employees, focusing on development and motivation.
  • Offer input and feedback regarding ongoing performance, development, and performance appraisals.
  • Review and approve work performed by analysts.
  • Work closely with the fund accounting team, willing to assist in crossover duties.
  • Review or prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
  • Review or prepare Investors Capital Statements and relevant calculations.
  • Assist in coordinating annual fund audits.
  • Resolve problems, errors, and queries in a timely manner (with documentation).
  • Meet all reporting deliverables.
  • Enforce adherence to departmental procedures, service standards, and specified deadlines.
  • Contribute to idea generation and ongoing assessment and improvement of operational service models.
  • Maintain good working relationships with external clients as well as internal relationship managers and other business units.
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental procedures.
  • Carry out all assigned duties under the Company's Safety Statement, ensuring Health, Safety, and Well-being for all employees.
  • Work on projects/ad hoc tasks as required.
  • Ensure succession planning process is in place and operational within the department through identification and development of high potential personnel.
  • Champion HR policies, ensuring all are applied and maintained.
Requirements:
  • At least five years' experience in a Fund Administration role, with at least two years working in a Private Equity position.
  • Experience in working on a Private Equity system, preferably Investran.
  • Strong knowledge of Private Equity structures and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements and OM's.
  • Supervisory skills and/or coaching/mentoring experience.
  • Fluency in English Language (both verbal and written) essential.
  • Third Level Degree in Finance or related field.
