Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be a proactive Food Operations Manager who can drive strategies to enhance product offerings and operating efficiencies, resulting in optimum financial returns while ensuring high levels of employee and guest satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement departmental operating budgets and financial plans
  • Monitor expenses, focusing on food, beverage, and labor costs, to ensure optimal profitability
  • Create business plans for Food & Beverage operations in conjunction with Outlet Managers to drive revenue growth
  • Communicate revenue targets to all leaders and support employees to reach collective goals
  • Analyze daily and monthly results, implementing strategies to improve Average Checks, Covers, and profitability through effective menu engineering and pricing tactics
  • Identify additional sales opportunities with the Events team to enhance revenue through cross-selling and upselling initiatives
  • Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences at a good value by leveraging customer preferences and market trends
  • Manage local food and beverage marketing programs and maintain system-wide programs to ensure consistency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date on competitors and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making
  • Ensure secure handling of credit and financial transactions to protect company assets
  • Work closely with key suppliers to obtain quality products and favorable pricing terms
  • Manage day-to-day staffing requirements and plan work assignments to ensure optimal resource allocation
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and regular feedback to team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Educate and train team members in compliance with local laws and safety regulations to minimize risk
  • Conduct quarterly appraisals with direct reports and performance reviews as necessary to ensure accountability and growth
  • Develop and implement Training programs for the F&B Department to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Participate in recruitment processes and support employee retention initiatives to attract and retain top talent
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of Food & Beverage products and services
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills
