AtkinsRéalis is a leading provider of engineering professional consulting and support services with offices across Ireland.

We are seeking an experienced Design & Build (DB) Design Manager to join our multidisciplinary team working on infrastructure projects across water, aviation, buildings, and energy markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-disciplined design-build teams to deliver projects successfully to agreed targets, e.g., programme, quality, and financial objectives.
  • Identify and agree project objectives with the Project Director and develop a strategy for achieving them.
  • Escalate and manage any matters that could pose a potential contractual/commercial risk to AtkinsRéalis to the Project Director at the earliest opportunity.
  • Set objectives and define tasks for the project team, delegating authority and agreeing how risks will be shared as necessary.
  • Actively manage the project technically and financially, in accordance with corporate policies, directives, guidance, and procedures.
Candidate Requirements
  • Relevant experience of DB design/project management.
  • A Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Chartered Engineer or equivalent with experience managing design commissions on large infrastructure projects.
