Chief Security Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Security Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for security engineering and operations in cloud environments.
This position involves collaborating closely with software development and DevOps teams to ensure the secure design, development, and deployment of products and infrastructure.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead threat modeling and security review exercises to identify and mitigate risks across our production and CI/CD environments.
- Drive vulnerability management and remediation efforts by prioritizing issues, implementing mitigations, and designing preventative controls.
- Develop and extend detection and response capabilities to build scalable solutions for identifying malicious activity, triaging alerts, and investigating and remediating incidents.
- At least 5 years of experience in security engineering or operations work in cloud environments, with expertise in AWS platforms and services, Kubernetes, IAM, IAC solutions, and cloud-native observability and management tools.
- Proficiency in Go, Python, and Rust programming languages.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams and organizations that develop software and operate managed infrastructure and technology services for their customers.
