Job Overview

A career opportunity exists for an experienced individual to join our team as a Fund Onboarding Specialist.

This role requires at least 5 years of experience in the funds industry, with expertise in fund accounting and NAV processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, project managing onboarding processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

In addition, they will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth onboarding of new funds and provide expert guidance to members of the operations team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the onboarding process.
  • Project manage onboarding projects, including coordinating handoffs between teams.
  • Prepare administration agreements and ensure their completion.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on internal systems and assist in the set-up of communication channels, accounts, and systems.
  • Work collaboratively with banks, auditors, brokers, custodians, and other internal groups to ensure efficient onboarding.
  • Perform and review internal accounting and shareholder service system set-ups.
  • Respond to client inquiries and provide superior customer service.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISAE/SOC standards and complete internal checklists.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years' experience in the funds industry.
  • Third Level qualification or College Undergraduate Degree desirable.
  • Strong client focus and proven ability to manage client relationships.
  • Experience in project management and leadership.
