Project Management Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced and ambitious project manager to join our team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of the project, adhering to timeline, safety and quality standards.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management, coordination and execution of the scope of works for each project, whilst meeting the project objectives set out for EHS, design, technical, quality, programme and commercial.


Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure they are available when needed throughout the construction projects
• Determine necessary equipment, materials, and manpower needed
• Manage quality control for the lifecycle of the project and ensure all project documentation is managed correctly
• Ensure material and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule
• Prepare reports on Project Management Software
• Modify and update the project programme with senior management to ensure key milestones are met.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team


Requirements:
Third Level Qualification in relevant Construction Discipline
• Background in engineering is desirable.
• Have at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to advise clients and design teams on value, risks, and programme in a holistic way
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
• Committed to working as part of a team and progress career development
• Motivated, organised and have excellent time management skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams
• Tech savvy and have good computer skills
• Good knowledge of construction material and processes
• Able to multitask with a strong understanding of core manager duties
