Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our structural engineering division, you will be responsible for the design, analysis, and management of complex structural projects. Job Overview
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will oversee the design and development of structural solutions for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects. You will perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for steel, concrete, and other materials. Your role will also involve managing and mentoring junior engineers, providing guidance and oversight throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of structural solutions for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
  • Perform detailed structural analysis and calculations for steel, concrete, and other materials.
  • Manage and mentor a team of junior engineers, providing guidance and oversight throughout the design process.
  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective project delivery.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Chartered Engineer status (or close to achieving it) is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant tools.
- In-depth knowledge of European building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and develop junior engineers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and find creative solutions to engineering challenges.
