We are seeking a seasoned Sales Professional to spearhead our growth strategy in the electrical wholesale industry. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and results-driven individual to join our team and drive business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Account Management: Foster long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
- Business Development: Proactively identify new business opportunities, target high-growth markets, and secure deals to expand our customer base.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for assigned territories.
- CUSTOMER RELATIONS: Build trust with customers by providing expert product solutions, understanding their needs, and delivering exceptional service.
- Journey Planning: Design strategic customer engagement plans to ensure regular and effective contact across entire territories.
- Quotation & Negotiation: Prepare detailed quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and successfully close sales.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product innovations to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaboration: Liaise effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery for customers.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activity, pipeline, and market feedback to the management team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of field sales experience, preferably within the electrical wholesale industry or a closely related sector.
- Product Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of electrical products.
- Sales Acumen: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a competitive B2B environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with the confidence to deal with decision-makers at all levels.
- Self-Motivated: A high-energy self-starter with the ability to work autonomously, manage your own diary, and take ownership of your territory.
- Customer Focus: A genuine commitment to providing best-in-class customer service.
- Commercial Awareness: Commercially astute with the ability to manage profit margins and contribute to overall business growth.
- IT Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using CRM software.
- Driving Licence: A full, clean Irish or EU driving licence is essential.
