Site Manager (Civil Engineering)

Job Description:

The position of Site Manager involves overseeing the on-site construction process for various projects. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building elements are installed in accordance with plans and specifications.

Key responsibilities include managing a team of engineers and technicians, conducting site inspections to identify any defects or anomalies, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

  • Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of setting out engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality control and health and safety standards.
  • Implement quality assurance procedures to prevent defects and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 4+ years' experience in a similar role with a Main Contractor.
  • Experience using project management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
