Job Overview

The Senior Loan Officer - Credit and Structured Products will be responsible for managing credit fund lifecycle events and ensuring timely and accurate deliverables. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage credit fund lifecycle events and ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  • Act as primary point of contact for external counterparties regarding data tie outs and ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Coordinate with clients and ensure the team is aware of daily deliverables and expectations.
  • Oversee junior staff and assume responsibility for training and development.
  • Implement process improvements and ensure final delivery of solutions.
  • Develop a big-picture mentality of daily portfolio reporting tasks and internal system usage.
  • Ensure timeframes and deliverables agreed with client and trustee are met per service level agreements.
  • Prioritize, complete, and delegate tasks while providing high-quality customer service.
  • Apply experience and understanding of market best practices when managing transactions and data flows.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional experience within a business or financial service-related role.
  • Experience working in loan operations and credit/debt funds.
  • Experience mentoring, managing workloads, and training of team members.
  • Ability to independently research and resolve problems.
  • Responsive, friendly, professional, and highly organized communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Broad market knowledge and familiarity with Bloomberg, performance systems, and other analysis tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment.
  • Willingness to work within a deadline-driven environment.
