Language Localization Specialist

Language managers play a crucial role in the success of global video games. They are responsible for overseeing the quality of translations, working closely with localization teams to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate and review in-game text, voice scripts, marketing materials, and other content as required to support game development and launch.
- Maintain translation memories, glossaries, and style guides to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve questions or conflicts related to terminology and language quality.
- At least 2 years of experience localizing video games.
- Strong writing and editing skills in the target language (Brazilian Portuguese).
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Experience localizing time-delimited dialogues and using CAT tools such as memoQ.
- Previous experience shipping AAA games.
- Experience with voice acting casting and Confluence/JIRA project management tools.
- A collaborative environment that encourages idea-sharing and growth.
