This role involves providing essential frontline support by preparing and serving nutritious meals to service users in a welcoming environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and serving meals and refreshments to service users and staff.
  • Assisting with the safe and respectful delivery of meals during mealtimes.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across kitchens, equipment, and utensils.
  • Complying with HACCP food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Supporting stock rotation and maintaining kitchen supplies.
  • Collaborating with catering and support teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 6-12 months' experience in catering or similar roles (experience in community or healthcare settings an advantage).
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety protocols.
  • The legal right to work in Ireland and Garda Vetting clearance.
  • The ability to provide at least 5 years' worth of professional references.
  • Excellent team working skills, flexibility, and effective communication abilities.
